The Story of Wassail Review by Tina Rice
Tranquil Storm Productionshttp://www.tranquilstorm.com/
The Story of Wassail, available only on video, is a very unusual movie. A modern day silent film, it tells the story of a deaf boy and his love for a rich college girl. I won't spoil the story and tell you the ending, you'll have to rent or buy it to find out what happens!
After watching The Story of Wassail, my children commented, "Cute," "Very interesting," and "can we watch it again?" I have to admit, at first I thought the sound was broken.
If you like artsy and unusual films, you will like The Story of Wassail. Brother's Peter and Micah Granderson write on their web site that Tranquil Storm is not a normal movie company. They are currently working on the production of Light of Life. Check out Tranquil Storm and see for yourself a modern day silent film.
