In this day and age, raising our daughters to become young women after God's heart is met with constant opposition form the world. That's why it is so important to school our daughters not only in the 3 R's, but in the truth of God's word. Christian Teen Bible Study by Christine St. George is an excellent tool to help turn their hearts toward the Lord.

Christian Teen Bible Study provides a broad study of building godly character in our daughters. This workbook addresses many key truths of the faith. Mrs. St. George addresses what a Christian is, prayer time, Bible reading, and scripture memorization. Also discussed are faith builders and faith stealers. Girls are educated on the fruits of the spirit, and warned against gossip and the damage the tongue can cause. Also addressed in this study are modesty, purity and marriage.

In discussing modesty, purity, and marriage, Mrs. St. George tactfully addresses some difficult topics. Abstaining from pre-marital sex is discussed plainly, and the book includes a purity contract for daughters to sign. You will want to consider this before deciding using this book. However, the author covers the subject in a very general manner without out going into particulars. If this particular section causes concern, the rest of the study is so good that I would recommend removing this section for later use and covering the rest of the material. Overall, the section is handled very respectfully and with good taste.

Each section of the study is brief and well written. Written exercises encourage girls to gather information from the Bible and the dictionary. It presents scripture to support key statements and encourages girls to look toward the Bible for answers to all of life's questions. Mrs. St. George challenges girls to examine their own behavior and measure it against God's word and to become doers of the word, not hearers only.

While this Bible study presents plenty of "meat" for our daughters to chew on, it also offers fun appealing crafts and activities to help expand on each topic. Overall, this study I would recommend this study to be using alongside your daughter, as an independent devotional, or for group study with a church or homeschool group.

If you're looking for a totally fun Bible study with tons of things to help your daughters grow, this is definitely a good choice. Aimed at teens and "tweens" this Bible study rocks. It is very Bible based covering issues such as Bible memory, gossip, purity, marriage and has tons of Bible based crafts.

It was very good, and I definitely would recommend this study. Christine St. George writes with clarity and honesty. She covered things that made me start squirming. There is also a chapter that has bookmarks, word searches, and boredom busters. I had so much fun doing this study that I would recommend all you girls (and moms) to check it out.

I had been looking for a Bible study for months and my mom showed it to me online. I thought that was pretty cool. So she got it and I just finished it today. This study can be done by yourself, in church groups, or mom and daughter. It is very easy to understand. If you're looking for a great Bible study, this is the way to go.
