Alphabet Alley has created some high-quality products for young children! "Smart Fun for Little Souls" is the tagline on all their products, and they are so right! They offer a variety of products to teach little ones about the Bible as well as "the basics" (ABCs, etc.). (We had the privilege to review a few things from their product line; look for more reviews on this site!)
We reviewed the Bible ABC Memory Game, and we were impressed by the high quality of the solid-wood pieces--just the right size for little hands. This game could easily be for ages 1-2 and up. The game comes in a nice wooden box with a heavy-duty clear plastic piece that slides into the top of the box. When you want to play, just slide the top off, dump the block pieces out, turn them all over, and take turns trying to find matches. The blocks feature simple bold print so that little ones can become familiar with the look of the letters and words.
I think this is a fun early-learning game for young family members. It would make a fantastic gift and would encourage older siblings to sit and play with younger ones, all the while teaching them their ABCs in a way little ones can understand--through FUN! I can't think of anything negative to say about the high-quality products from Alphabet Alley. I love that they are wood and not cheap plastic like so many toys and games today. You will love them too! Definite recommendation!
