Brainy Baby Storybook Shapes Toy Review by Lisa Barthuly

Brainy Baby has some of the neatest educational books, toys, and DVDs for our youngest children to enjoy and learn from! Babies start learning well before they arrive, and the learning process continues throughout their lifetimes with a little encouragement from their families. Brainy Baby has developed some great tools to encourage the learning process in very young children.
Storybook Shapes Toy is geared for ages 9 months and up. This delightfully colorful and engaging storybook toy has soft fabric pages and a hard plastic spine. It helps children learn shapes, colors, and numbers and also helps to develop verbal, sequential, logical/mathematical, reasoning/cognitive, and analytical thinking skills.
The layout of the book is simple yet educational for young ones. Large, chunky buttons are easy to push, and soft pages are easy to turn. There are only three pages, so it is not too overwhelming for wee ones. This product teaches and entertains--what more could you want?
I don't see a negative to Brainy Baby's toys/books. Some families might not care for the pictured characters that are wearing only shirt and diaper and/or showing their bellies. But these products are directed to babies, and in many cases that is their attire! We thoroughly enjoyed this item and would recommend it!
