When this kit arrived, I had it earmarked for my creative 15-year-old son. He delved into it right away, and we were pleasantly surprised at the results. With this kit, one can make cobblestone type steppingstones or round steppingstones, or even just concrete keepsakes like your child's foot or hand. We decided to make garden stones with Scripture on them. You could make a multitude of items with this kit by adding just a bit of creativity.

You basically fill your form with the mixed concrete (coloring it with tint if desired) and level it with the trowel. Then you press in the letter forms and jewels or whatever else you'd like and follow the instructions for letting it cure. This sounds a bit easier than it actually is, though. You do need to set aside a good chunk of time to get it all done.

This is no little kit. It contains:

• Five cobblestone-shaped forms of varying length
• One round form (12-inch diameter)
• 70 press-in stamps (letters, numbers, and punctuation)
• Two pounds of lightweight concrete mix
• Two containers of concrete tint--terra cotta and buff
• 100 colored glass jewels
• A metal trowel

After going over many Scriptures, my son and I came up with one that would fit in two of his rectangular forms. It was Psalm 16:11--"Thou wilt show me the path of life." He put this verse into the rectangle molds, added some jewels, cured it, and presented me with a lovely gift to grace the little flower garden in my front yard.

My son loved this kit, and I loved its results!
