Being a Good Friend Review by Heidi Strawser
Miiko Gibsonhttp://www.miikogibson.com/
This little e-book is a wonderful resource for any family with young daughters. Being a Good Friend starts out with a letter to mothers, then goes on to teach young ladies how to make friends, keep friends, and act with friends. It is divided into eight easy-to-read chapters, with each chapter focusing on a different and important aspect of the friendship relationship (such as graciousness, forgiveness, and prayer).
Each chapter includes a full page of Scripture verses to back up the principles that are introduced. The author has included a study guide in the back with suggested questions for further discussion. The book also includes sweet black and white illustrations that are pleasing to the eyes. I would recommend this book to any girls of elementary age; and, though it may seem simplistic for older girls, I believe that they would greatly benefit from reading through it and participating in the discussion questions as well.
