"A is for Angler, whose day is ideal
when he catches a fish, with a rod and a reel."
Sleeping Bear Press has created yet another fantastic alphabet book! As a family with three sons who are also fishermen, we really enjoyed this entertaining and informative book. It's a hardbound book filled with lovely watercolor-like illustrations. Each letter stands for something that pertains to fishing, and there is not only a great poem but also a paragraph with facts about that subject. You'll learn how to tie on a hook, about types of bait, fish anatomy, different fishing styles, safety, and more--all while learning your ABCs! This is perfect for any little fisherman, even if just at heart. From the very first page, we were "hooked" on this great book and think it's definitely a keeper!
