Wooden toys! There is nothing like the look and feel of a wooden toy. There is nothing like the look of a child opening up a beautifully crafted wooden toy just like the ones from Tag Toys. We received a wooden cat bank measuring 8"L x 6"W x 2" thick. The cat really looks like a smiling friendly kitten with a 3' round clear plastic circle in the belly section of the cat that holds your child's savings. The back of the banks have a slit big enough for all coins and folded bills. To access the money, the front plastic circle can be unscrewed. The screws are the size of eye glass screws and will require a very small screwdriver to open. This makes it easy for a parent to access it, but not so easy for a child. (We like this as it encourages saving!)

These beautifully-crafted, solid wood banks are perfect for Christmas or birthdays. They are not so big that they take up a large space on a dresser, and are so cute you might find them as a guest at your child's tea party. We have had various kinds of banks for our children over the years, but all have worn out. Our daughter should be able to pass this to her own children. We are often frustrated by the poor quality of modern toys, but this is truly well-made. The bank is soft and smooth to the touch so there will be no worries about splinters.

Tag Toys has a variety of wooden items for children. I hope we are able to see more of them.
