Draw and Write through History is a history and art book in one. It is not a full credit history book. It will take you through history to draw things that would have been in that time. The time period is c. AD 793 - AD 1600s. Along with drawing you will write things in cursive. This curriculum is for ages 8 and up. To use this you will need half lined and half unlined paper. You will also need sharp pencils, a vinyl eraser, a pack of colored pencils, and a pencil sharpener.

In Draw and Write through History you will, in a step-by-step manner, learn to draw something or someone that would have been in that time period. Along with the steps you will find a few fun facts about the thing you are learning about. You can draw from two to eight pictures in each lesson. There is a page of cursive writing at the end of each lesson. This book would be good for homeschoolers or public school students.

I think it is a good book. It takes you through different time periods: the Vikings, the Middle Ages, and the Renaissance. But the art you do is very hard. I am 12 years old, and it was extremely hard for me. I think the art should be toned down a little. Other than that, I would want to buy it.
