This is a multiple-choice fun quiz to help you figure out what kind of knot is needed for the job at hand. Don't worry, the answers are provided!

Each knot includes a description, uses, and step-by-step directions on how to tie it. Quick Starts tying tips are helpful too! Sometimes the tip is an alternate way to tie the knot or an easy to remember way of tying the knot. For example, to tie a bowline you think of a rabbit coming out of its hole, going behind a tree, and then popping down in front again! If you remember this mental picture, you can tie a bowline and get it right every time!

The illustrations are very accurate and easy to follow, and children love the funnies that are sprinkled throughout the book.
