Classic Bible Storybook Review by Dawn Oaks
By Kenneth N. TaylorTyndale House Publishers

Classic Bible Storybook is truly a classic in this mom's eyes. It contains more than 120 stories taken right from Scripture. The Bible reference for each story is cited so that moms and dads can easily reference their own bibles for more details.
The author of this wonderful reference is none other than Kenneth Taylor, the translator of The Living Bible. Mr. Taylor has done an amazing job of bringing the biblical truths in these stories to life so that young ears not only hear but understand. To complement the wonderful stories, this text has brilliant illustrations throughout. At the end of each story, a handful of reading comprehension questions are provided for further discussion.
Classic Bible Storybook could be used as a great family devotional, a Bible text for preschool and early elementary students, or a resource for Sunday Schools or homeschool co-ops. I especially enjoyed sharing a story each morning with my 5-year-old while we snuggled in my recliner over a cup of coffee.
