I have to be honest. I don't like to pay a lot for kids' shoes. It just doesn't seem to make sense when they grow out of them so fast. However, I also must admit that often I find in regards to all kinds of purchases that the old adage is true: you get what you pay for. So it is in the case of these Stride Rite shoes my 5-year-old daughter has been wearing.

The sneakers are well constructed with quality materials (leather and mesh) and stitching. They are not going to fall apart after a few months. She loves the silver and pink color combination, and she says they are very comfortable. The "hook and loop" closures are easy for her to handle. The SuperBall style name refers to a special heel component that provides for maximum energy return upon impact. This factor is hard to judge for another person, but my daughter seems to like these sneakers better than the last few pairs she has had.

These sneakers retail for $60.00. If your child is very active and requires the support of a good sneaker, you might consider trying the Stride Rite SuperBall. A quality pair of sneakers might also make a good gift from grandparents.
