This card game comes in a cute little tin. The cards are very colorful and consist of numbers 1 through 10 with a plus/minus 1, 2 or 3. The cards are passed out equally to all players except for one that goes face-up in the center. All players play at one time, picking up their cards one at a time from their stack. They can hold as many or as few cards in their hands at a time as they want. So it's a matter of playing as quickly as you can on an ever-changing top card.
The first one to use up all but one of their cards turns their last one facedown on the stack, ending the play. My daughter smoked me on this, and my granddaughter smoked me on this. My old brain was not as nimble as theirs. It was a case of the student showing up the teacher. A good time was had by all (except maybe my bruised ego). I recommend this game to homeschoolers, because after playing for a while, addition and subtraction will be automatic! This is a very entertaining way to hone those skills.
