How often have you used the excuse "I'm too tired" or "I'm not in the mood" with your husband? Jennifer Flanders discusses why these statements and attitudes can be a detriment to your marriage. The book is split into two parts, "Love Him Physically" and "Love Him Unconditionally." Both parts examine the importance of how you view the needs of your husband. Much research and Scripture are given in this book to show the benefits of changing the way you think.

Jennifer speaks from experience because she too used the same excuses and had the same mindset many of us do. Through much prayer and self-examination, she learned to change her way of thinking and develop a relationship with her husband the way God intended it to be. The benefits she reaped were far beyond her imagination--not only in her relationship with her husband but for herself as well. She admits this was not easy at first, but realizing that she was doing what the Lord would want her to do made it easier.

I found this to be a very enlightening and even convicting book at times. While there were a couple of chapters that seemed a little long, I still enjoyed the book. Each chapter was separated into different parts with headings that made it easy to read in the small chunks of time that I had throughout the day. It was very simple to pick up where I left off, which is something I appreciate with a very busy schedule. If you want to create a passionate relationship with your husband and even improve your health along the way, I think this book is definitely worth reading.
