The Fuzzle Family Felt Pattern Set is written by Diane Hurst. It is delivered in an e-book format and is very affordable at only $4.00. It is a very creative and fun idea for the whole family.

I have mixed reviews about this product. I can say that it is a wonderful concept; I am just not sure it was for our family. Let me first tell you a little about what you will receive. There are 27 pages with all of the instructions and patterns to make not only the felt characters but also the extras needed. Some of these extras include ideas on how to create a felt board for displays, clothing for the characters, and even the car and home the family would use. There are patterns for a complete felt family, including the family pet. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. The patterns are well laid out and easy to cut out. However, the only negative I had with this product is the amount of prep time it takes. There is a lot of work involved in cutting out all the patterns, sewing the pieces of felt together, and adding the hair for each character. It took us several days just to get all the patterns cut out. Once the pieces were finished, the set did lend itself to several hours of creative play. The author provides several ideas of how the felt characters can be used through out the school day and for creative playtime.

I would recommend that this product be planned for an extended amount of time. It would be a great lesson in sewing for a beginner who needs a little extra practice. For the price, and with some time for the preparations to be made, this e-book is a fun product the whole family can join in on.
