This pretty pink hard-back book is a perfect introduction to manners and etiquette for girls ages 9 to 12 years old. It can be read with a mom or by an individual girl.
There are fun activities in the book such making bangle bracelets. There are cute surveys to take about how you treat others. Then there is instruction on how to behave like God's little princess. Topics addressed include: table manners, elevator manners, how to set a table, and hair care. The book is filled with Bible verses. The book is inspiring and encouraging. The book does not address any school issues.
My daughters are attracted to the Gigi series that Sheila Walsh writes. They love the pink and the art. This book was no different. The chapters were short and uplifting with lots of activities. My daughters were entertained and educated. There was a chapter about how to dress like a princess. Our family standard is a modest style. The book addressed dressing in general and allowed me to expound on the topic. I did not have to undo any teaching.
Great job Sheila Walsh on another great book!
