This DVD is approximately 68 minutes long and is recommended for ages 4-10. There are four read-along stories on the disc. The main story is "The Scrambled States of America," told by Uncle Sam. The story tells of a time when the states got together and decided to switch places. They all thought it was great fun for a little while but eventually decided they wanted back in their original places. The subsequent story is "The Scrambled States of America Talent Show," in which, obviously, the states decide to have a talent show. Hard to believe, but there is learning involved in both these cute stories, and they would be a fun addition to your geography class sometime during the year.
Another story is "Do Unto Otters," a story about the Golden Rule. It is a very engaging story about manners. The final story, "Open Wide: Tooth School Inside," teaches dental hygiene. All these stories are so much fun, the kids won't know they are learning something.
I highly recommend this DVD. Our kids watch DVDs in the minivan when we are going to appointments or shopping. This one is a favorite!
