I love sharing the Bible with my children. I love sharing the stories of God and all He can do for us. While I love reading directly from my Bible, some days the kids just want a picture book.

When the need for pictures arises, I pull out The Story Travelers Bible. Everyone loves to gather around and follow along with Lana, Munch, and Griffen as they learn about the Bible in a fun way!

We first meet these three kids at church. They had found a run down, rusted up mini bus in the back of church. Suddenly, the bus starts up and begins transforming into a new and shiny mini bus! Not only that, but the bus is calling for them to get on.

Taking the chance, the kids get on the bus, and this is when the adventure begins through the Bible. Each adventure begins with an introduction with the three story travelers. This sets the stage for the adventure that is about to begin.

Each of the 85 stories that are included in this Bible are told as if the Story Travelers were actually watching them happen. You are drawn in to the excitement, sadness, adventure, and happiness.

We start our journey at the very beginning. We make some important pitstops along the way and end at the end. While this may be a children’s Bible, nothing is left out!

Each adventure is filled with beautiful color images that go with the story at hand. Each of these stories ends with a simple phrase that will help you learn more. This phrase includes the Bible verse so that you can take the Bible and show your child the original verse.

Not only that, but along the sides of the pages, you will find other fun facts and information to help you take the stories to a whole new level, for mom as well as the kids. These include “Think About It” and “Build Your Faith” as well as information about the different countries, cities, and geographic locations you are visiting.

Every few stories we came across a “Park Here” section. This is a simple section that points out a key verse that we work on memorizing. These are perfectly chosen to go with what you have recently read. They are not hard, but just enough of a challenge to make you proud to have it memorized!

We loved this Bible. Everyone loved it, from the 2-year-old to the 40-year-old. The adventures are captivating and make understanding the Bible stories one step easier. Comparing the adventures in The Story Travelers Bible to the actual Bible story is a wonderful way to make the Bible that much more understandable. We look forward to using this Bible in our home for many years to come!
