Aliens. We’ve all heard of them. Some believe so intensely in them that their whole lives revolve around these foreign entities. The evidence seems overwhelming that something is out there. But what does the Bible, God’s inerrant Word that contains all the answers to life and godliness, have to say about UFOs and aliens?

I have heard many arguments over this topic, from Bible-believing Christians as well as those who actively participate in witchcraft, but I have never seen a film that laid out the evidence, the history, the science, the facts about extraterrestrial beings, as well as personal testimonies of abductions and “sightings” as Alien Intrusion: Unmasking the Deception, created by Creation Ministries International.

The film is geared towards people who are very interested in this topic and has a gentle, welcoming approach to presenting the facts of UFOs and aliens as well as an explanation that isn’t the common mainstream. Fairly laying out the history of when people started to get into alien hysteria, where the belief that aliens created human life came from, and the history of supposed sightings and UFO impacts on earth, and so much more, the viewer gains a full picture of what our neighboring galaxy entities just may be like.

One of my favorite parts of the film was its review of the evidence at the alleged Roswell, New Mexico crash site of an alien spaceship! This part of the movie made a large impact on me. The science behind the technology needed to fly a spacecraft across the universe was incredible and extremely eye-opening. As well as the science behind how life originated, and where aliens fit into that. They explore evolution, the big bang theory, and creation in regard to alien lifeforms.

The film draws to a close with interviews of several people who claim to have been abducted by aliens, and they share their stories and experiences. This is the part of the film that has you on the edge of your seat drawn in by these fascinating stories. A reputable psychologist explained how the people who have had these abductions show signs that they truly believe in what they experienced and it changed their lives in a deep way. So, are aliens real? Did these people really experience an abduction?

Until the very end of the movie, you don’t realize that the gospel is going to be presented or that the intention of this film is to present a Biblical worldview of extraterrestrials. However, the movie successfully ends with many scriptures explaining what the Bible says about these supernatural entities emanating from another dimension, and how the abductions ceased when the victim called on the name of Jesus. These beings are deceitful and these abductions are occurring in the spiritual realm. Each person who shared their abduction story proceeded to share how it led them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Scientists and researchers are beginning to see that the name of Jesus Christ makes these alien interventions stop dead in their tracks. They also noted there is a difference between someone who is a “talk the talk” Christian versus a Christian who has a relationship with Jesus. Much scripture is given to back up all these points.

I watched Alien Intrusion: Unmasking the Deception with a group of people including my dad, who has done much research into aliens and demonology, and two other friends who are virtually uninterested in the topic. They all had the same feedback. This movie was great! It is well put together and had a very strong conclusion!

I would recommend this movie highly for evangelistic purposes, presenting the gospel to those lost or fearful of aliens or demonic beings. This is a documentary I would also give to someone who is a believer in Jesus Christ, but is caught up in the alien hysteria and fails to see what the Bible truly says about this topic. Like the documentary says, the church should be the place that people who are dealing with these issues should be able to go for answers and for hope. This film could be the tool to equip the church to handle situations where people believe in aliens or are being demonically oppressed by what they believe is an extraterrestrial being.  I pray that Alien Intrusion: Unmasking the Deception encourages people to keep their eyes on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, and the eternal prize.
