As a mom, I am always on the lookout for natural ways to bring health and healing to my family and prevent, cure, or avoid common ailments that are being passed around. While I enjoy the blessings of modern medicine, I very much appreciate safe and effective natural treatments that typically have fewer side effects, cost less, and work with the body to heal itself the way God intended. One such product that I have discovered is colloidal silver.

Silver has been used for centuries for disease prevention as a natural healer and bacteria fighter. In fact, the term ‘born with a silver spoon in their mouth’ even references wealthy families who could afford to use silver spoons and pacifiers for a natural immunity safeguard for their infants.

Colloidal Research, Inc. has produced a line of products featuring colloidal silver in its natural state, that can be used for healing and immune building. For this review, I was able to test the Silver Hydrosol Cream (2 ounces) and Silver Hydrosol Water (8 ounces)in a spray bottle. While I am familiar with silver water, this was my first opportunity to try the hydrosol cream.

The Silver Hydrosol Cream came in a small, round, plastic container with a screw-on lid. It was filled right to the top and has a firm, yet smooth texture. I would describe it as odorless and pleasant to use. We used it for acne, burns, scrapes, and dry skin. A very small amount goes a long way, and very little product is needed. The silver cream worked efficiently at helping minor cuts and abrasions heal quickly, without any difficulty. There was a slight improvement to the acne. When used on a minor burn, the skin did not blister. We also used the cream on a small cut that our cat had above his eye. Amazingly, this is where we saw the most dramatic results, as the cut that had been problematic for at least a week was completely healed over within two days.

The Silver Hydrosol Water is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, which is perfect when helping picky children. Since it comes in a spray bottle, we used it mainly as an immune booster, spraying once daily in throats. For the duration of our trial for this review, no one got sick even though the weather changed dramatically, and one bout of sore throats only lasted one day. We also used the spray on a large brush burn that one of the children had on their leg, and it helped the healing tremendously.

While Colloidal Research, Inc. acknowledges that none of their products have been tested or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, they do provide quite a bit of research and information on their website to help potential buyers make informed decisions. Of course, there is not a guarantee that colloidal silver is a magical cure-all, but there is enough evidence, and the price is affordable, for customers to make informed decisions and try it for themselves. All their products are produced in the USA.

There is a broad assortment of products available for purchase on the website, including varying sizes of both the liquid and the creams. I highly recommend these products, based on our own successful experience with them, and I will be purchasing more for my family in the future.
