Let Go and Let God: A Devotional for Decluttering Your Heart Review by Patti Pierce

Let Go and Let God: A Devotional for Decluttering Your Heart provides short but powerful devotionals to help women focus on what is important. These devotionals cover a wide variety of topics that will be meaningful to women in all stages of life.

For this review, I received a hardback copy of the book. From the cover to the pages inside the book, the colors and designs jumped out and grabbed my attention. The color palette of the flowers included in the front of the book blends beautifully together with the title of the book. The colors from the cover continue throughout the pages of the book creating a beautiful book to look at as well as to read.

This devotional includes topics such as The Faces of God, The Truth About Busyness, Strength in Submission, Making Plans, and more. Three hundred and sixty-five devotions are included. The devotions are short enough for a busy mom to spend time with God without feeling overwhelmed.

Each devotion includes a short reading along with a passage of Scripture. The readings provide the perfect length to read even if time is limited or interruptions may occur.

I feel this devotional is good for any woman to read who wants to focus on God. This book would be perfect as a stand-alone devotional or as a springboard for a longer Bible Study time. I feel it would be perfect to lead into a word study or to read the entire chapter, or simply to help focus on God and begin a deeper study.

Even though each day addresses a different topic, the devotionals come together to create a cohesive picture of what it truly means to “Let Go & Let God” - as the title states.

I recommend this devotional. I truly feel any woman could benefit from reading it.
