Zingo!® World Builder is a learning game geared toward grades kindergarten through second. This game can be played with 2-6 players and is quick to learn. Zingo!® World Builder comes with 72 letter tiles, 6 double-sided Zingo!® World Builder cards, and the Zingo! Zinger. The Zinger pulls out letters for each turn.
Zingo!® World Builder can be played as a beginning reader or more advanced by simply flipping the word builder cards from the yellow to the orange side. It is ok to have players playing different levels in the same game. The goal of the game is to be the first player to form all words on your card. 2 letters are given each turn and then players look at their board to see if they can make a word out of the letters. Whoever is the first to call out a word using the letters from the Zinger and letters from their board gets to take the letter. All the words are only three letters long, so this makes it perfect for younger ages.
We had a wonderful time playing together as a family. We are a family of 7 and had 6 using the cards and the extra person running the Zinger. It is rare to find something everyone can play with our family size. Even the adults enjoyed this thinking game. We had some good laughs as some tried to make up words. Those words do not count for the game, but it was silly anyway. I think that this is a wonderful way to build words with younger students and even older ones will enjoy the reinforcement and competitive aspect.
I recommend the Zingo!® World Builder to all families with younger children. It isa straightforward way to work on words and have fun at the same time. We did not have any difficulty setting it up and playing. The Zingo! company offers other similar games and we will be checking those out to add to our game closet soon.
