I recently had the pleasure of reviewing two products by Kenson Kids: the "I Can Do It!" Reward Chart and the "I Can Do It" My Daily Checklist. The "I Can Do It!" Reward Chart is an incentive-based chore and behavior chart, and the "I Can Do It" Daily Checklist is an incentive-based daily schedule. The charts target ages three through ten.
The "I Can Do It!" Reward Chart contains one laminated chart, one dry-erase marker, twenty plastic chore and behavior tabs, three blank plastic tabs, forty-five plastic stars, two hang tabs, a magnetic strip, and an instruction manual. Some chores and behavior tabs include making the bed, getting dressed, brushing teeth, and helping with dishes. There are also three blank labels so parents can customize tasks to meet the needs of their households. Because I am a homeschool mom, I am glad I can utilize the blank tabs to include finishing schoolwork, independent reading, and reviewing math facts on our family chart.
The "I Can Do It" Daily Checklist contains one laminated chart, one dry-erase marker, thirty-five daily activities, eighteen plastic stars, five blank stickers, and an instruction manual. In addition, the "I Can Do It" Daily Checklist includes tasks tabs such as getting up on time, putting your things away, eating your veggies, and cleaning your room. I also appreciate the five blank labels included so I can customize the chart to meet my unique household needs.
Both charts help keep our days more organized. The Daily Checklist provides a clear, detailed list of activities to complete daily. Another positive aspect is that families can use this chart for more than one child. The tasks tabs for both the Daily Checklist and the Reward Chart contain words along with colorful pictures. The colorful images are great for my two visual learners. Both charts are durable and have magnetic strips on the back, making it convenient to place them on the fridge for easy viewing.
I absolutely loved both items and highly recommend these to families looking for a fun, easy way to add structure to household routines. The "I Can Do It! Reward Chart is a great fit for families who want to implement a reward system; the "I Can Do It" Daily Checklist is excellent for families looking to establish a daily routine or schedule for their children. These items can be used individually or simultaneously to meet the unique demands of busy homeschool families.
The "I Can Do It!" Reward Chart is currently available for $24.95, and the "I Can Do It" My Daily Checklist" is available for $19.95 on www.kensonkids.com.
