Unlimited Potential
Once we see a need and respond to it, a child’s potential can be unlimited. Special Needs with Judi Munday addresses some of the challenges that parents face today—dyslexia, processing disorders, difficulty reading, etc. Through nineteen lessons, Judi assists parents with writing goals and choosing curriculum, modifying and adapting curriculum, teaching students with dyslexia to read, as well as shares technology that can aid struggling readers. Maybe a child’s unlimited potential will take them across the world, maybe even across the universe. Before they’re old enough to explore the far reaches of the galaxy, however, provide them with an introduction through Everyday Astronomy. Each unit varies in length from fifteen to twenty-seven days. They cover the sun; each of the planets, including Pluto; and an introduction to constellations. Besides simple lecture lessons, many hands-on activities are included such as recipes, drawing, measurement and consumption of fruit, map activities, and more.
