A Flair for the Dramatic
Do you have a child who tends to be a bit of a drama queen, maybe a drama king? Is that even a thing? You can provide her or him with a productive outlet for that particular “ability” by taking part in In the Limelight, a course designed by RachelAnn Rogish. Rachel takes students through a number of classic plays and shows them how to study and perform them at home. She takes this course a step further than a typical drama course, however, by digging into the Biblical truths that can be learned from each play. All children in elementary through high school can participate and have fun! Perhaps you have a child who isn’t keen on acting but would rather be behind the scenes. They can learn how to videotape the entire production through Experience Videomaking with Evonne Mandella. Eighteen lessons will teach students in middle school and high school how to use software to make videos for private use. Components of the course include mood and atmosphere, storyboards, using music, video timelines, creating a movie trailer, and more.
