Our Top Ten Favorite Winter Read-Alouds for Girls
Listening to one of my parents read aloud on chilly winter evenings ranks as most cherished in my childhood hall of memories. With five sisters, we quickly developed a ranking of our family favorites. Here, I’m going to share our top ten with you, which have endeared themselves to us not only for their winsome qualities but also for their merit in showcasing ladies of both femininity and strength.

The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan
One of the most anointed evangelistic stories and greatest works of English literature. Every family should hear this Christian classic at least once a year. Answers in Genesis has a beautiful audio dramatization of The Pilgrim’s Progress.
