Homeschooling Will Change Your Life

You're here because something isn't working.

Maybe it's the school. Maybe it's what your child comes home saying. Maybe you've been turning this over for months and still don't know where to start.

You're not imagining it, and you're not the only one. When the Department of Education asked homeschooling parents why they brought their children home, the answer given most often was concern about the environment at their child's school. Eighty-three percent. Right behind it, seventy-five percent said they wanted to provide moral instruction themselves.

Those two answers are one answer.

Your child is being discipled right now. Seven hours a day, five days a week, somebody is answering his biggest questions for him. What is true. What is worth wanting. Who he is. Some of those answers are wrong, and you are not in the room when they are given.

That has been happening all along, whether anyone called it discipleship or not.

The only question that has ever been on the table is who does it.

Here's what we want you to know. You can do this.

You don’t need a teaching degree. You don’t need the whole year figured out. And you are almost certainly not too late. Homeschooling is legal in all fifty states, although the requirements differ. Before withdrawing your child or submitting paperwork, check the homeschool requirements for your state. We’ll show you where to begin.

Nobody is asking you to plan the next twelve years. You only have to decide what comes next.

Bring them home.
