Hey Mama,
Take a moment to stop and pray. Slow down a minute OK? You have lots to do today and the important stuff will get done. The house may not be perfect, but really, is that the most important thing? I know you’d like to have things organized and running more smoothly, but there are times when leaning on your Heavenly Father to get you through the day is more important than the best organizational system.
Did you know your Heavenly Father watches you all day long? He gazes at you during sleep as well. He is the ultimate parent. You are a reflection, an imperfect (cracked?) mirror, but that’s ok because where you lack, He is right there. He is strong when you are weak. He succeeds where you fail. He catches you (and your children) when you are slipping and falling.
So slow down. Breathe. Wait on Him for your next step and to help you get organized. Did you forget that He directs your day? He ordained it all, and He is not worried, so you stop fretting, Mama. Go make some lunch and play with those kids He gave you. Gaze on them the way He gazes on you.

“I look forward to THM every Wednesday. I really enjoy Deborah’s articles. For some reason, it must be God, she always writes about what I am needing to hear. Her ability to put scripture and God in the middle of all her articles keeps me coming back. I recently have been enjoying the Youngs’ [articles] because I have a young man (10) in my house. The encouragement of the Youngs is fabulous. I thank God for parents like them that pave the way for parents like myself and my husband.”

“Thanks ever so much. I love the encouraging articles! I really loved the list of 25 all in one place. Nice to have this little bit of “free” encouragement in my mail. I don’t have funds to subscribe or purchase frills and with also working more than half time I don’t have time to search it out. May God bless you exceedingly.”
