Though most of us prefer our children, and even ourselves, to limit our screen time, sometimes it is just too beneficial to pass up. Past Schoolhouse EXPO are available for your viewing pleasure under the Resources tab. There are currently 15 video programs with topics such as “Exploring the Earth and the Sky,” “Strengthening the Homeschool Marriage and Family,” “Homeschooling Your Extra Special Blessing,” and “Being Married to a Homeschool Mom.” Find encouragement and guidance in a format that allows you to kick back and relax. Speaking of videos, Evonne Mandella has taught Experience Videomaking for high school and middle school. Evonne is the creator of the video on our home page that details the new classes for fall. Her course discusses everything from sharing your faith through your video (increasing the benefit of that screen time) to making a movie trailer. Students are sure to learn a great deal and want to begin creating their own videos right away.
