Can You Do Without Your Morning Cup of Coffee?
So, the joke goes: How does Moses make coffee? Hebrews it. Get it? In all seriousness, do you know much about that coffee you drink? How about the cereal you eat or the snack your kids had yesterday? Jennifer Needham shares her knowledge with the whole family in Family Nutrition. This course will enable you to learn to recognize nutrients and how to choose nutrient-dense foods. She’ll also talk about height, weight, and body mass index, and how those things relate to our health. Fourteen weeks of instruction are presented through printable text, worksheets, and recipes with occasional videos and quizzes. Jennifer also discusses organic food, allergies and intolerances, and energy-dense and energy-deficient foods. Let’s get back to Hebrews. Evonne Mandella has provided 16 weeks of Hebrew language lessons in Hands-on Hebrew. Elementary and middle school students can gain a basic introduction to the pronunciation of commonly used Hebrew words. By the end of the course, your student will be able to read a couple of verses from the Old Testament in the original Hebrew. Instruction focuses on pronunciation guides, videos, word games, and Scripture references. Some of the topics are words for family, words for parts of the body, chair, door, room, table, window, morning, light, evening, night, tired, season, spring, fall, winter, and summer.
