Checking It Twice
Well, it’s that time of year again. We are checking lists . . . sometimes twice. Kids are making their wish lists. Moms and dads are making their to-do lists. The holidays are full of fun and exciting things to do, and sometimes it is necessary to have those lists so we can keep on track. SchoolhouseTeachers.com has some lists for you as well—Checklists. So you can keep on track of the classes your child is taking as well as when new lessons are scheduled. Be sure to use the checklists available under Pre-K/Elem and Middle/High School; they should help make your life a little easier. Also, if your high schooler is participating in classes on SchoolhouseTeachers.com, you can find Academic Weighting Boxes for some of the high school classes. Look for the gray box surrounding the class summary box on the teacher page for each class. These provide an explanation of the work required to receive credit, though other classes can earn credit; it’s simply up to the parents to be sure students are doing enough work.
