Does your child have an interest in playing the guitar? Through SchoolhouseTeachers.com, he or she can learn from a master. Recording artist, performer, and teacher Jerry Jennings has provided us with a 28-lesson Beginning/Intermediate Guitar course. Any student in elementary through high school, even parents, can learn how to tune a guitar and play basic chords, scales, and triads through videos, diagrams, and downloadable pages. By the end of the course, students will be able to play simple pieces. High school students who complete all of the lessons can earn 0.5 academic credit.
