We have some exciting news for you! Accounting 101 is available! David A. Shepson, MSA, EA, has designed this course to equip high school students with a mastery of accounting fundamentals they will need in order to be prepared for their college classes. He presents the concepts in easy-to-digest ways so students will gain an appreciation for the state of the industry and the world of finance as a whole. They will be able to able to operate from a Christian worldview to effect positive change if they choose an accounting or other business career. The twenty-four lessons provide an introduction of accounting and an explanation of the accounting cycle, financial accounting, and management accounting. Elementary and middle school students have not been left out of the new classes. Creative Storytelling with Charity Martinez will get your kids excited about writing, even if they are reluctant. Each of the thirty weekly lessons builds on a concept being explored and gives the student time to write imaginatively on a wide variety of topics and in a broad assortment of styles. They will complete detailed character charts, write their autobiography, write a short story, drafting a letter for a great grandchild, and more.
