When I had my first child, I had never changed a diaper. The only baby-sitting I had ever done was my neighbor’s nine-year-old. For me, knowing what to do with a baby was not second nature. Some of you might be like me. Baby Beginnings with Erica Thomas is a series of 24 lessons that contain songs and activities you can do with your baby to encourage nurturing, playing, and learning. The lessons are tailored to the months of your baby’s development. If you’re looking for additional ideas or perhaps wanting to teach an older child how to care for a baby or toddler, this class might just have what you’re looking for. All About Shapes with Carla Earley is a fun way to teach and reinforce basic shapes with your preschooler. Carla provides ideas for games, foods, books, crafts, and more to go along with each shape. Learn about circles, ovals, squares, rectangles, triangles, stars, pentagons, octagons, crescents, hearts, and diamonds/rhombi. Have fun going on shape hunts at the grocery store, eating foods cut into special shapes, singing silly songs, and more with this delightful series of lessons.
