Dream Big
We all have dreams, but what do you do with those dreams? You need a plan to be able to achieve them. Perhaps your child has big dreams of starting his/her own business. Some of the most successful people started with such a dream when they were young. Dana Beasley has compiled her expertise into a course for middle school and high school students—Internet Entrepreneurship. Over the past several months, she has looked at the various aspects of beginning a business and spends this month putting it all together. The information Dana provides is invaluable and is sure to excite and encourage young entrepreneurs to make their dreams a reality. Evidence of dreamers is all around us. Look at some of the most famous landmarks. These were created because somebody had a dream. In Introduction to Architecture this month, we will explore the Tower Bridge, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Panama Canal. Each of these structures was designed to fulfill a need. The architects had to surmount great obstacles in order to complete their visions. Come learn about their ingenuity and their designs.
