Does your teen have an entrepreneurial spirit? Does he or she have the desire to start a business but isn’t sure what steps to take to make it a reality? SchoolhouseTeachers.com can help. Internet Entrepreneurship for Teens with Dana Susan Beasley provides weekly lessons, practical questions, and assignments on topics such as the essential elements of a well-designed logo or brand, generating ideas, selecting software, writing a slogan, and much more. These lessons will help teens create a real or mock Internet-based business from scratch while they are encouraged to explore their talents and interests and to discover their purpose and calling in life and in the job market. Middle and high school students can count this course as one computer/technology credit if they complete all twenty-four lessons. Starting a Micro Business for Teens with Carol Topp will teach middle and high school students about the world of micro businesses—what they are and what they can learn from starting one. This eight-week course will encourage them to discover and use their talents and skills to formulate an idea and then develop a business plan.
