Exercise is Good for the Brain
Whether we are playing soccer or working out math problems, we are exercising. When we stay physically fit, we keep our muscles in shape. When we do our school work, we are helping our brains stay fit. If we don’t exercise, our muscles begin to weaken. If we get lazy and stop doing our math, our skills will diminish. Why do you think a review is often needed at the beginning of each school year? Let next year be different. Learn from Peter Price How to Teach Elementary Math. Peter is a teacher from Australia who has a passion for seeing children turned on to math, and he loves helping teachers, including homeschool moms and dads, find better ways to teach mathematics. Through his videos and worksheets, you can help math become more meaningful for your children. Many past lessons are available for review including subtraction, addition, fractions, division, symmetry, critical thinking, times tables, and more. Make it a point to keep your bodies moving this summer, too. Join Bethany Learn for Family Fitness. Bethany has provided a class for the entire family, complete with professional videos, printouts, and physical activities. There are three modules of four lessons each that cover things like goal setting, patterns of movement, firming up habits, your posture and your core, and alignment.
