blog figures and freebies

Figures are everywhere. We can’t escape them. Statistics with Kathy Lapan can help middle and high school students understand the statistics they are faced with in everyday life and reliably interpret them. Monthly slideshows with weekly assignments provide an introduction to statistics; explain how statistics are used; discuss normal distribution, graphs, scatter diagrams, pie charts, standard deviation, the “68-95-99.7 Rule,” slope, uses of slope, equation of a line, demographics, sample size, and more. Our Freebie Corner provides printables, fun packs, worksheets, coloring pages, and games for the whole family. Some of the items available are a seal fun pack, presidential word search, letter tracing, a British Museum printable, a Grandma Moses art appreciation printable, preschool activities with trains, and weather terminology. One of the newest freebies is a set of Declaration of Independence Study Questions.
