Full Speed Ahead
My firstborn is a senior this year. I wonder where the time has gone. Sadly, it isn’t slowing down. We have to think about college and scholarships. I’ve been told the senior year just flies by. Thankfully, I have help. College Choice Guidance with Andy Erickson helps high school students choose a college and earn scholarships. Bi-monthly lessons walk high school students and their parents through the process of choosing a college, applying for financial aid, and attending college. The course is designed to take students and their parents through four years of preparation. Perhaps you have a student who is eager to start his or her own business before they are finished with high school. Internet Entrepreneurship for Teens with Dana Susan Beasley will take middle and high school students through the steps of creating a real or mock Internet-based business from scratch. They will learn how to market their business through multimedia, a website, and social media. Students are encouraged to explore their talents and interests and to discover their purpose and calling in life and in the job market.
