Fun Spelling Review Activities and Everyday Games

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

This week is all about having fun with review in Schoolhouse Spelling! While Pre-K/K learns four new words, Lower Elementary through High School will take this week to be sure the previous nine weeks of material is firmly rooted in their minds before beginning new words for the new year. Activities vary from copywork to word searches, crossword puzzles to Make a Story activities. There is even a game for Middle and High School called Titles and Tag Lines. Don’t miss this refreshing way to get the new year off to a strong start.

Teresa Evans and Everyday Games has five new reading games for us this week, including the special New Year’s games New Year Spell Well and New Year Word Builder. Plus you can enjoy some snowman rhyming games that will help you practice CVC words and more. These are games that really make kids think—while they have tons of fun at the same time!
