Get to Know the Past

History is more than just dates. It is people like you and me who were in the right place at the right time to do extraordinary things. And we have the privilege of learning about these people in courses like People and Places of World War II. This course for elementary students is led by Sally Matheny and consists of stand-alone unit studies. The first unit, “The Who’s Who of WWII and the Paths Leading Them to War” covers twenty-one lessons and is an excellent supplement to an upper elementary student’s history class or introduction to this period of history for younger elementary students. Students will enjoy the games, activities, puzzles, and projects that will add to their learning.
