Have Some Fun while Doing Schoolwork

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

Did you know you don’t have to always be serious when you’re doing your schoolwork? It’s true—SchoolhouseTeachers.com has some classes this month that prove that school can be fun! Chris Yust will be teaching students how to create Minecraft Mods in Java in his Computer Science class. Learn about various tools and how to add a block, a recipe, and a MOB. Janice Campbell will be using “A Message to Garcia” by Elbert Hubbard to show students in her Writing class a classic example of humorous writing. She will allow students to absorb the material and analyze it, write a letter to Hubbard’s newspaper, and finish up with their own creation. Preschoolers can play while they read In Which Pooh Goes Visiting and Gets into a Tight Place by A. A. Milne in PreK Activities: Read and Play. Dailies author Sarah Gilbert provides fun ways you can talk about the book and bring it to life.
