Heroes and Heroines

Any good story has a hero or a heroine. I know of a book overflowing with heroes and heroines, and I bet you’ve read it—the Bible—the best story ever told. In Bible Study for Preteens, Kathy Hutto helps students grow deeper roots by studying God’s Word. Daily studies take students into lives of heroes and heroines like Rebekah, Ruth, Hannah, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Daniel, Jonah, and Lazarus’ sister Mary. There are eighteen studies designed specifically girls, and ten for boys.

In the animated series, Friends and Heroes in Ancient Times, older elementary students are led on an adventure across the Roman Empire while hearing stories from the Bible of folks like Peter, Rahab and the spies, Jesus, Barnabas, Esther, and many others. These stories are sure to encourage faith and inspire hope.
