Homeschool Magazine Expands along with Homeschool Population

The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine will launch a newly enhanced magazine format to meet the needs of a new generation of homeschoolers.

GRAY, Tenn. – April 5, 2022 – PRLog – Thanks to the events of the 2020s, virtually everyone knows a homeschooling family. The National Home Education Research Institute states it well: “Home education is an age-old traditional educational practice that a decade ago appeared to be cutting-edge and ‘alternative’ but is now bordering on ‘mainstream’ in the United States. It may be the fastest-growing form of education in the United States.” (NHERI.org)

Today’s homeschoolers have discovered an established source for trusted information: The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine. Homeschooling parents have been turning the pages of this quarterly publication for inspiration and advice for over two decades. This summer, its readers will discover even more. For the first time ever, the magazine will include bonus digital content. The newly enhanced format means more material than ever before. “The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine is overflowing with content to meet the needs of a new generation of homeschooling families,” shared Gena Suarez, publisher. “We are known as the trade magazine for homeschoolers, but we had humble roots as a simple newsletter. We quickly grew into a beautiful, glossy quarterly publication with worldwide readership. We recognize that today’s readers want information at their fingertips, so this summer we will begin offering digital content to enhance our print publication. Readers can expect the same uplifting material—only more of it.”

The Summer 2022 print issue of The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine covers topics like unschooling, homeschooling high school, and back to school prep. Just in time for summer reading, our bonus digital content includes themes today’s parents will love digging into: podcasts, homesteading, making the most of family togetherness, teaching values, and virtual careers for at-home moms. New subscribers can enjoy a discount during the month of April.

“Turn our paper pages and then click and swipe for more starting this summer,” invited Suarez. “The Old Schoolhouse® Magazine is happy to deliver the content homeschoolers rely on in your mailbox and at your fingertips.”
