blog satisfy their curiosity

Children are naturally curious, so it’s important to have activities that help them explore and satisfy that curiosity. Curious Science is a course designed for elementary students, especially third and fourth grade. Nine unit studies take students through studies of pufferfish, slime eels, dung beetles, fire ants, quicksand, and more. They will explore language arts, math, science, art, Bible, and history as well as science. Ditch the Desk with Jennifer Holden contains weekly and monthly unit studies that examine topics such as being an author or illustrator, backyard critters, baking with math, banishing boring book reports, birds, growing up Dutch, the ocean, the weather, and more. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade can learn about everything from space to the Renaissance in 24 weekly or monthly unit studies.
