Seeing the Purpose

When we take the time to truly study something, we can begin to see the purpose in it, whether it be a flower or a person’s life. Thankfully, we have the opportunity to do both through SchoolhouseTeachers.com. Botany with Julie Polanco teaches middle and high school students about plant cells, transpiration, plant defense, flowers and food, and gymnosperms. They will even learn how plants are used as medicine. Through study text, worksheets (with answer keys provided), activities, and experiments, students will see the beauty and purpose of the natural world. Nationally known history teacher Diana Waring has brought us four lessons in Christian Luminaries. As we study the lives of David Livingstone, Isobel Kuhn, Dr. Paul Brand, and Betty Green we can see how God orchestrates our lives and uses us to bring about his purposes. These short lessons are sure to bring new life to any history program.
