What will your kids be doing this summer? Hopefully they’ll be spending a lot of time outside in the beautiful weather, with sufficient sunscreen, of course. If you’re looking for ideas, you can follow Edwina Moody in Kinetic Connections as she provides a variety of resources for nature/outdoor activities, including links to nature lapbooking guides and blogs with nature themes. She also provides a list of water games that your kids and their friends can play. If they’d like to some science while they’re playing, they can join Jason Lindsey’s Science class as he teaches kids how to build Bernoulli’s Ping Pong Launcher. Another simple lesson he provided in June was Color Changing Strawberry Jam.
