Why not take advantage of your lighter schedule this summer to help your students gain the advantage as they head into a new school year in the fall? If your high school student is going to be taking Chemistry, get a head start with Friendly Chemistry. Joey Hajda’s twelve-week course will build a solid foundation for more advanced chemistry classes. Joey presents chemistry in a way that is not hard or intimidating. His lessons contain teaching tips, a section of text, a group of activities, laboratory experiences, videos, and worksheet pages. Each lesson also has a test. Students will study the elements, atoms, electrons, and ions, and they will be introduced to determining charges on ions and quantum mechanics. Will your high schooler be taking trigonometry? Martha Candler’s Trigonometry course can help high schoolers understand this subject before class begins. Throughout the fourteen lessons, they will study right angles, acute angles, graphing, and inverse functions. Martha provides written instruction, helpful illustrations, practice exercises, answer keys, and additional resources for further learning. Don’t take for granted the opportunity to gain the advantage!
