The Sky’s the Limit
As a parent, it is fun to listen to little ones talk about what they want to be when they grow up. It is also very exciting when your teenager makes a decision about what he/she wants to study in college. SchoolhouseTeachers.com wants to encourage your students to be thinking about all of the possibilities that are available. Truly, the sky is the limit! Youngsters can get a taste of some exciting and necessary occupations through ABC What Will I Be? Alecia Francois will be discussing various professionals as she helps children learn their alphabet. The occupations for January are astronaut, baker, construction worker, and doctor. She includes reading lists, activities for a sensory bin for hands-on learning, activity pages, science experiments, and writing and math exercises. Students who are in middle school and high school can research their career options with Carol Topp in Career Exploration. Carol helps students look at a wide variety of career possibilities and try to match those with their talents and interests. Students may discover interesting careers they never thought about before.
