A Craft to Tell the Easter Story

Have your little ones share the good news with this simple craft. Once completed, your child can use it as a teaching tool to tell others about the death and resurrection of Jesus. This will allow them to practice learning scripture or telling the Easter story in their own words

Download the PDF Tell the Easter Story Craft and get your cut-outs ready. Instructions are in the PDF.

What you’ll need:

  • Two paper plates
  • Paper (if you choose to draw)
  • 2 brads

Teaching the Gospel at Easter

Use this craft to teach your children about the death and resurrection of Jesus. You can use the scriptures in the PDF pages as a starting point for conversations or read the entire story together as a family. No matter how you share the story of Jesus with your children, it is important that they remember the basics:

  1. Without Jesus dying on the cross (His sacrifice), we could never have a chance to be part of the family God.
  2. Jesus is indeed risen, and that means He defeated death (which was our price to pay).
  3. God loves you. He paid it all for you because He loves you.
